Addiction comes in many forms. Many of us, when we hear the word "addiction," immediately think of substance abuse in some form. But other common addictions may involve: sex or pornography, gambling, overeating, gaming, other forms of media use, self-harming, and unhealthy relationships. There has been much controversy over what does or does not qualify as an addiction. All quibbling aside, the hallmark of addiction is obsession or preoccupation with a certain behavior, resulting in its continuance over time even in the face of negative life consequences. David has successfully helped both adults and teens over addictive behaviors now for over 20 years.
