The Bible is God's instruction to Christians on so many topics. A most valuable set of topics is of course, family development and marital satisfaction. As a Christian Minister I approach counseling with an integration of biblical and clinical principles. One informs the other. The Bible is silent on many topics and theologically, one must not attempt to make doctrine out of silence.
