I am a Licensed clinical addiction specialist. This is a license that requires years of education, experience and supervision in the field of addiction. I also am qualified to work with dual diagnosed clients, such as depression, PTSD and addiction. I refer clients out for group outpatient work while I provide individuals with specialized addiction counseling that reduces relapse by treating the trauma and anxiety while teaching skills to regulate emotions and relax into body sensations through mindfulness.

Therapy can be a great tool to support men and women in overcoming chemical (substances) and process (behavioral) addictions and regaining control of a healthy lifestyle. I have supported clients in working through addictions including alcoholism, drug abuse, compulsive pornography use, and compulsive cell phone and gaming use. I will discuss a plan to help you identify the emotional components of your addictive cycle, increase social support and accountability, develop new habits that support refraining from using, and having a clear long term plan for freedom. Call or email me today and we will discuss your needs and the support I can provide.
