I recognize that the most important aspect to an effective therapeutic treatment is the quality of the relationship between the client and therapist. Through this collaborative approach, the client and I identify their strengths and build on these characteristics through therapy. We identify areas in the individuals’ life which are not useful or producing an undesirable outcome-such as self-destructive behavior, poor communication skills, etc.

Addictions can make you behave in a way that is unlike your normal nature and cause multiple problems with family, school, work, social and spiritual aspects of life. When you are stuck in addictive thoughts and behaviors recovery can seem impossible. I have extensive training and experience in substance addictions, including opiate addictions. Therapy is often needed to learn coping skills to maintain long term recovery of addictions. My approach is warm, compassionate, non-judgmental, and will compel you to desire lasting change in your life.
