Biblical and Christian Counseling in 61568: Tremont, IL.

One of the descriptions of Jesus was as the mighty counselor. He placed himself among the hurting, sick, disabled, confused, rejected, and downhearted offering them hope, grace, kindness, and help. I attended Lincoln Christian Seminary and completed a Chaplaincy internship to understand to the best of my ability how to use faith in helping others heal and find wholeness.

As a practicing Christian, I prefer a christian-based approach to therapy, but can remain secular if desired. Faith can be the most powerful tool in navigating mood and anxiety disorders. For individuals who want to incorporate spiritual aspects into mental health counseling, I address therapy from a Christian, bible-based perspective and help individuals grow in their faith and utilize their faith in strengthening their emotional health.
