About Me
My journey in medicine and public health has taught me that healing requires more than simply treating symptoms, it requires an understating of the individual, their culture, and any barriers they have faced navigating support. My approach to therapy is both empathetic and collaborative, focused on building a strong therapeutic alliance to ensure you feel both heard and understood. My goal is to create a safe space to allow you to explore your thoughts, behaviours, and emotions, while we integrate your personal experiences and values, to allow us to address any underlying issues that may exist and develop practical strategies for improvement. I am dedicated to helping you achieve the meaningful and lasting change you are seeking in your life. I work with individuals, families and youth aged 10+ and offer a free 15-minute consultation to ensure I am the right fit for your journey.
My therapeutic
approach is rooted in both the biological and psychosocial aspects of mental
health. I draw upon evidence-based methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
(CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Mindfulness to help my clients work through
their struggles. I provide trauma-informed and
client-centred care, to ensure that each therapeutic experience is tailored to
my clients’ unique goals and needs.
