As a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia and a National Certified Counselor, Ms. Trish Hastings received a M.A. in Counseling from Regent University in Virginia. She also completed a Post Master’s Certificate in Counseling, which is similar to a Specialist’s Degree, at Regent University as well. She has been in a private practice that is faith-based in northeast Georgia since the mid-1990s. Ms. Hastings currently offers mainly individual and marriage counseling and generally works with clients from around 14 years of age on up to senior adults.
Ms. Hastings has professional experience and training counseling individuals, couples, families, and groups. She has worked in a variety of settings with a diverse clientele who present with a wide range of issues including relationship challenges, depression, anxiety, abuse, trauma, stress, grief, anger, codependency, ACOA, ACOD, compulsive behaviors, faith-based concerns, etc.
Committed to offering therapy that is professional and competent, Ms. Hastings is supportive, nurturing, and thorough from the initial assessment and planning stages through the therapeutic process. Her aspiration is to come alongside her clients in a collaborative manner with them and God to assist in their journey toward freedom and wholeness. She views each client as having value, dignity, and being worthy of respect in the sight of God.
Her office is located near the Gainesville square and is convenient to I-985 and to many northeast Georgia cities, including but not limited to Gainesville, Oakwood, Flowery Branch, Braselton, Clermont, Murrayville, Dahlonega, and Buford.
