Professional Profile

I have over 20 years of comprehensive management level experience in service delivery, over seven in
professional counseling, and two in her private practice. I have combined my clinical counseling expertise with my business experience to offer clients a unique perspective of problem solving. I am a dedicated and passionate
counselor, who provides non-judgmental atmosphere in which you can safely explore and work through feelings, thoughts, images and beliefs, conscious and unconscious, that may be keeping you stagnant.

I enjoy working with teenagers as they struggle to define their identities cope with the rapid physical, emotional and psychological changes that take place within themselves and adjust to the demands of peers, schools, families and society. When working with teenagers, I work collaboratively with parents, the family, school counselors, medical professionals and other to provide am optimum level of care.

I am eclectic in my orientation and offer a holistic, integrative approach to client-centered therapy using traditional psychotherapeutic and family systems work, cognitive behavioral techniques. I have an expertise working with individuals with addictions, mental health conditions and those in acute crisis who are dual diagnosed that has set the stage for my successful private practice.

I bring a specialized knowledge and understanding coupled with the desire to work with person’s who present concerns yet are seeking the help necessary to return functional to or maintain functional living. My ability as a strong communicator with keen perceptivity allows me to develop possible solutions and suggestions to help clients gain practical insight into their situations.

My passion for helping other return to their centers, regain emotional balance and reach a state of calmness where communication can take place and healing may begin. To provide a relaxing experience I used essential oils to create a calm atmosphere and increase wellness and healing.

Professional History

Prior to private practice I worked in various multidimensional human service agencies as a service coordinator, program manager, and counselor. This includes clinical experience in residential and outpatient settings, employee assistance programs, substance abuse, developmentally disabled, at-risk adolescence, family services agencies and private practice. Her clients range from large corporations to small non-profit agencies. Specialties include: depression, anxiety, substance use disorder, job-related difficulties and career related concerns, individual/personal coaching, and life transition.

TLCOUNSELING SERVICES Fees

TLCOUNSELING SERVICES fee for initial evaluation/assessment is $250.00, with each session afterward being $100.00 per hour. TLCOUSELING SERVICES accepts most insurance. TLCOUNSELING SERVICES will provide the client a bill for services rendered in which the client can submit to their insurance provider for approval. Some insurance may require preauthorization.
