Session Fees: Sessions are available late afternoon and evenings. 50 minute Individual sessions are $130.00 plus GST and 50 minute Parent/Child and Couples sessions are $140.00 plus GST

About Me:
I am described as caring, compassionate and client-centered. I provide a safe, warm and supportive environment where children, adolescents and adults have the space to talk about their feelings, set attainable goals and make positive life changes. I help my clients with issues such as: self-esteem, body image, eating issues, trauma, anxiety, school/work problems, life/work transitions, add/adhd, stress, depression, friendship, bullying, anger management, child-parent family issues, separation/divorce reactions, grief/loss, and complex emotions. I believe in being an active listener, building relationships and helping clients to be their own change agents.

I specialize in working with children who are trying to cope with a wide variety of issues. I use play, art and literature as some of the ways to help children feel comfortable in counselling in order to help them open up about what troubles them. I work with adult clients to help them better manage and enjoy their lives. Although I have a deep belief in being "client-centered," I am open to using a variety of therapeutic techniques to meet the needs of my clients. I welcome clients of all ages who are shy, hesitant or new to Counselling.

Location:
My office is conveniently located in South Burnaby between the Royal Oak and Metrotown Skytrain Stations. Clients living and/or working in Burnaby, New Westminster, Vancouver and Surrey can easily access my office by skytrain. In addition, there is plenty of street and parking lot parking available. My convenient appointment hours include: Monday and Wednesday from 3:45pm to 9:00 pm. Other days of the week including Saturday are sometimes available upon request. Please know that I am currently working using video conferencing and telephone sessions. Please contact me regarding setting appointments that work for your schedule. I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor in good standing with the British Columbia association of Clinical Counsellors. I truly enjoy helping clients of all ages, genders and backgrounds.
