Steve Brownrigg began his own recovery from alcoholism in 1997 and, following years of experience working with addicts and alcoholics at a non-professional level, he returned to school in 2003 to pursue a Masters degree in Community Counseling at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
Steve’s major specialty is in the treatment of “Co-Occurring Disorders,” for persons challenged by both Substance Abuse/Dependency Disorders and other Mental Health Disorders. Steve's individualized approach blends his various skill sets, including: Cognitive-Behavioral, 12-Step Facilitation, Solution Focused, TA, and EMDR for the treatment of Childhood and other Traumas. He is Certified in EMDR by EMDRIA.
