I earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Milligan College and a Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Ball State University.  I have also completed a year and a half of doctoral work and am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Indiana.

My therapy experience is with children (age 3 and up), teenagers, families, and individual adults, using mainly play, art, cognitive-behavioral, and family systems therapy techniques. While in grad school, I volunteered as a group counselor for Caring Arts, a program for children with emotional disabilities. I taught parenting classes for court-ordered parents at Lutheran Child and Family Services in Indianapolis and worked in Ball State's community counseling clinic, providing services to children and their families.  From 2007-2011, I worked at the Counseling Center at White River Christian Church with children, adults, and families and also conducted all intakes for new clients at the counseling center. In 2011, I opened Hope's Road. I am a member of the Star Behavioral Health Provider registry, which provides services for military families and a Clinical Advisory Board member at The Cherish Center in Noblesville. I also teach the Children In Between curriculum for divorcing parents and their children in Madison County.

My husband Evan and I have been married for 12 years and have 2 adorable Shetland Sheepdogs. We are animal lovers who also enjoy traveling, photography, food, and spending time with family and friends.
