People often come to counseling feeling disconnected from the person they know themselves to be, or uncertain about how to navigate life’s challenges. You may be seeking counseling because you feel like you’re hanging on by a thread, overwhelmed by life, or struggling to keep up with rapid changes around you. After working together, many clients report feeling less alone in their struggles, with a clearer understanding of themselves and a renewed sense of empowerment.
As a counselor, I believe that everyone is the expert of their own experience and that we thrive when we can be our authentic selves. My goal is to provide a safe space for self-exploration and to support you through growth and healing. I integrate a variety of therapeutic modalities into my practice, beginning with a relational and person-centered approach, and adapting based on your unique needs. I have extensive experience working with anxiety, stress, life transitions, grief, abuse, and parenting, and I approach all work from a trauma-informed and culturally aware perspective.
