Sarah holds a Master of Science degree in Individual, Couple & Family
Therapy from the University of Guelph. Sarah also has a Bachelor of Education
from the University of Western Ontario and has experience teaching at both the
Intermediate and Senior grade levels. Sarah is a Member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, and is an Approved Supervisor with the Canadian Association for Marriage & Family Therapy.
Sarah has practiced psychotherapy in clinic settings, group settings and in private practice. Sarah has provided
conflict resolution services and training seminars in workplace/corporate
contexts as well as in the community. Sarah has worked extensively with
community agencies (including Family & Children's Services, Criminal
Injuries Compensation Board, Victim Quick Response Program) as well as working
with individuals, couples and families. Sarah has recently qualified to be a Clinical Supervisor with the Canadian Association for Couple and Family Therapy and is supervising both student trainees and graduated students qualifying with the CRPO.
Sarah has over 35 years of experience in individual, couple & family
therapy/counselling with people of all ages including very young children and
the elderly. Sarah's extensive training, professional & life experience equip
her to help bring wholeness to you, your family and your relationships.
Sarah's approach is strength-based and stems from her belief that you enter
counselling with strengths and personal resources which often simply need to be
encouraged, strengthened, directed and adapted in order for you to gain the
results and solutions you desire. Sarah believes it is important to address the
root causes beneath ongoing issues that result in stress and repeated life
patterns. By resolving root issues chronic unhealthy patterns can be broken and
you can move forward to fully enjoy your life and your relationships.

is in Traumatic Incident Reduction and she would be pleased to discuss with you
the value of this approach to the treatment of PTSD, trauma reduction, life

Sarah has been married for over 25 years and is a mother of four and "Nana" to 5 grandchildren. She currently
provides in-person services to clients within a 60 minute driving radius of Brockville
Ontario and virtual appointments to people all over Canada and at times in the USA and around the world.
