In 1997 for my first post Masters position, I became an associate counsellor with the Cascadia Foundation for Community (now the Cascadia Family Clinic). I continued to work as a Cascadia “associate” counsellor, counselling high-risk families and individuals and facilitating a variety of psych-educational programs.

In 2004 I relocated to Lethbridge Alberta to assume partnership within Associates Counselling Services Inc. Also, in December 2004 I undertook the position of Clinical Supervisor, with Family Centre (Lethbridge AB).

In January 2006 Associates Counselling began its Relationship Violence Treatment Program and I became Program Manager, counsellor and Group Facilitator.

In August 2013 I re-located my private practice to Campbell River B.C. under the administrative umbrella of Strathcona Counselling Services (offices in Courtenay and Campbell River). I believe it is my role to facilitate a process that creates a greater self awareness allowing for positive change and personal growth. First and foremost I believe in fostering a trusting and positive relationship with clients that eases them through the change process. I am a Generalist practitioner with experience in addressing a variety of client issues such as relationship, depression, workplace, health, anger, to name a few. I am both a registered clinical social worker (British Columbia College of Social Workers) and a registered clinical counsellor (B.C. Association of Clinical Counsellors).
