My Journey:
My life journey has taught me the importance of
learning to accept the unique person that I am. I never existed before and I
shall never exist again. Much to my surprise, I found that if I was to be a success,
I had to take responsibility for making life work for me.
My professional desire is to assist others in learning to empower their self
awareness and thus generate the necessary emotional energy to discover what
they require to live life fully. The journey is not without anxiety and pain.
In contrast, neither is surgery to correct a physical ailment that generates
healing. So too does “awareness surgery” hurt, but the hurt generates healing
within the authentic self.
The pain of my spiritual and emotional
transformation has bought me into myself, culminating in a meaningful existence
and a rewarding spiritual relationship with God, myself and others.
Holding to my philosophy that “perception determines
behavior”. I encourage my clients to first examine themselves, their
communication styles, their self-image, etc., to ensure that what is projected
by their personality, becomes that which is perceived to be authentic and real.
An authentic personality projection promotes trust, reliability and confidence
in the eyes of those with whom relationships are being built.
All of us live out our lives in the state that Viktor Frankl describes as “in
search of meaning”. We all have an inner compulsion to understand the reasons
for our existence and to make sense of who we are, what we do and how we do it.
Meaninglessness is our greatest threat in life. For without meaning, life
spawns a sense a sense of futility, worthlessness and depression. Those who
survived the holocaust were those individuals who found purpose and meaning
during their forced imprisonment.
