Thanks for visiting and taking the time to learn more about me (Ricky) and my services. It’s important to find the best fit for your situation, so I’ll try to give an honest snapshot of what to expect from me both personally and professionally. I began practising in 2013 and worked in a variety of mental health settings before opening my own practice. Early on, I worked mostly in marriage and family therapy, but through the years I’ve worked with non-profit agencies, community health centres, mental health hospitals, and with the Government of Ontario to help launch new provincial programs. I genuinely enjoy what I do. I look forward to meeting new people and having meaningful and thought-provoking conversations. I try to take every possible opportunity to learn and better myself as a practitioner.

I’m typically relaxed and conversational and try to help people get to the heart of the matter. I specialize in getting people “unstuck” from their current way of thinking about and dealing with issues. I love asking thoughtful questions and re-framing your situation so you can approach it in ways you haven’t considered before.
I’m a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with a Masters Degree (MA) from Wilfrid Laurier University. From my training as a couples therapist and family therapist, I bring a deep understanding of how to identify and resolve underlying issues in relationships.

I’m not afraid to provide direction and honest thoughts when it’s needed, but strive to do it in a way that respects your values.
