Located in the heart of Indianapolis, Indiana, Resource Treatment Center is a leading provider of treatments and therapies for adolescents and teenagers ages 13-17 who have been experiencing symptoms related to substance use disorders, behavioral health concerns, and mental health concerns. We are proud to offer various levels of care for our patients, each of which consists of evidence-based treatment modalities and compassionate expertise. Behavioral health concerns we treat include borderline personality disorder (BPD), conduct disorder, anxiety, aggression, depression, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), self-harm behaviors, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), suicidal ideation, oppositional defiant disorder, impulse control concerns, sexually maladaptive behaviors, intermittent explosive disorder, and others. Every patient is unique, so every care plan must be unique as well. A thorough assessment of every patient’s medical history, background, symptoms, needs, and goals will begin the experience at Resource Treatment Center so that we can make sure that every child receives the proper care they deserve. Levels of care include therapeutic day treatment (TDT), therapeutic day school (TDS), residential care, sober and transitional living, and group home care. Some of the therapies and services we provide for our patients include individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, and various experiential therapies. Our staff is adept at treating co-occurring addictions to provide holistic care that treats the body, spirit, and mind. Our treatment center also offers unique transitional living for teenage girls and teenage boys, in addition to our other premier services. We are also proud to offer military and family support services, along with placement services that include Children’s Behavioral Solutions. Specialized programs also include therapeutic treatment for adolescent boys who have demonstrated sexually maladaptive behaviors at our secure residential program. Our mental health treatment center in Indianapolis is dedicated to providing the most focused care available with as little restriction as possible. Special consideration is given to residents who meet certain criteria to ensure that every child has the best chance to succeed emotionally and socially within and outside of school. Resource Treatment Center offers in-home therapy options in addition to our other unique services. These in-home options include services like diagnostics and evaluations, home-based casework, foster family support, trauma assessments, clinical interview assessments, psychosexual assessments, and more. We proudly offer an in-house school program for every patient who is receiving care at our facility. This education is delivered by qualified special education teachers, and our program holds accreditation from the Indiana Department of Education. Adolescents who have been placed in our care can attend the in-house school program so that they do not fall behind academically while they work on their individualized recovery and healing goals. Our residential treatment center operates three group homes in the area that provide step-down services for patients after they complete our treatment programs. Group home living can help them ease into a healthy living environment and cultivate positive reinforcement, life skills, social skills, communication skills, and healthy coping mechanisms. These homes are named Polaris, Success, and Carina.
