My approach to therapy is grounded in
authenticity, compassion, and collaboration. I believe that everyone has the
potential to lead a full and meaningful life. I am passionate about helping my
clients discover their inner strength and to help guide them towards becoming
the guiding force in their personal journeys.
As a therapist, my goal is to offer a warm,
non-judgmental space where you can embark on your personal journey of healing,
growth, and self-discovery. My focus is to help clients tune into their wide
array of experiences through the use of words, creative expressions, and deeper
self-reflection. I believe the foundation of the therapeutic relationship is
build on trust, and I strive to create a compassionate environment where you
feel heard, valued, and respected. I believe that therapy is a collaborative
process where I will walk alongside you, providing support, guidance, and the
tools required to help you overcome your challenges to achieve your aspirations
and goals.
I believe that we are all unique, we all
have our own story, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. I
draw on your experiences using an integrative, evidence-based approach drawing
from various therapeutic modalities including Mindfulness-Based Cognitive
Therapy (MBCT), Art Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Internal Family
Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and
Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). I work with individuals, youth, and
families, and tailor my approach to meet the specific needs and goals of each
individual, fostering an environment of collaboration and empowerment in our
therapeutic relationship.
