Are you struggling with life rather than living your life?
Is your relationship with your partner, your family, or your friends unfulfilling?
Do you find yourself dissatisfied with your life or yourself?
Do you feel stuck or believe something is wrong with you?
Are you unhappy or anxious and just do not know why?
You are not alone. We are compassionately committed to helping you transform these issues and many more that you might be experiencing. We are Merrie Day and Ken Drummy and comprise Day-Drummy Life Coaches. We each bring our own unique set of skills and educational experience while sharing a vision of helping individuals, couples, and families break through limitations and challenges that have often prevented them from truly living their lives.
We all deserve a great life and for many we do not understand that we may be preventing ourself from claiming the life we want. All of the life experiences we have had are stored in our minds and contribute on a daily basis to our current experience. It often takes a trained psychotherapist who understands psychology, emotions, and the body-mind connection to help us unravel the old messages we tell ourselves and create new experience.
Merrie Day is a licensed marriage and family therapist who specializes with the treatment of eating disorders and body dissatisfaction, anxiety, depression, and recovering from childhood trauma experiences. She is an experienced EMDR clinician and uses talk therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, and interactive guided imagery with her clients as well as other interventions to create lasting change. Merrie works with individuals, couples, and families and is a child play therapist."I believe it is important for individuals to have a different experience in the therapy session so they can directly experience and interrupt old beliefs and habits. Change is always possible if you really want it."
Ken Drummy is a licensed clinical social worker who specializes in helping couples repair and enhance their relationships. His accepting compassionate presence makes him an excellent therapist and teacher. Ken also loves to work with adolescents and does parent coaching to help families navigate transitional changes in their families. Ken uses talk therapy, interactive guided imagery, Gottman couples work, cognitive behavioral therapy in addition to other creative interventions to foster change and personal growth. He understands the special needs of boys growing up in today's culture and is a trained play therapist for working with children.
"Change happens whether we are aware of it or not. So doesn't it make more sense to be in the driver's seat and create what you truly want in your life? After all, it is your life."
"I cannot believe what a difference it made for our son to work with you, Ken. You were the only person he could really talk with."
