Hello!! If you’re reading this, you’re probably looking for a counselor or you’re just really bored. Either way, stick with me for a few minutes! My name is Megan and I’m a clinical social worker licensed in Florida, North Carolina, and Virginia. My partner Lara and I live on the west coast of Florida and run the Rise In Love (formerly Suncoast Imago) Counseling and Consulting program from our home here. We’re in the process of building a small couple’s retreat center just outside of Asheville, NC and are very excited about the possibilities that will bring to our work!
If you’d have told me ten years ago that I’d be working almost exclusively as a marriage/relationship therapist, there’s no way I’d have believed you. Couple’s work seemed so complicated and scary (which might be how you’re imagining it now). Fate has a way of stepping in though; leading you where you need to go, even if it’s not where you want to go. Just like most couples, we hit a painful and scary time and had no idea where to turn.
Enter- Imago Relationship Therapy!
Unlike traditional couple’s counseling (which has a really sad success rate), the Imago approach

We offer in-office, virtual, and in-home couple’s work. For certain relationships, our intensive approach works the best. This 2 day program is the equivalent of 6 to 8 therapy sessions and is often very helpful for couples in crisis.
We are also available for education seminars and presentations. We’ve found that many church and synagogue congregations, workplaces, and other organizations have found benefit in the Imago approach to relationships.
Our counseling and consulting rate is $150.00 per session and the sessions last approximately 75 minutes.
Although we don’t bill insurance for couple’s counseling, we will provide a super bill for you to submit for reimbursement.
