I work in a very relationship oriented fashion. It is a way for me to better understand someone's issues, conflicts or struggles that are interferring with the quality of their life. Within our relationship, we can begin to reveal the unspoken, sometimes unknown, patterns, behaviors, beliefs, or obstacles that seem to lead to a discontentment within a person's work, love and play. I see this process of therapy as a process of helping people become their own best therapist, developing the insight and skills to manage and be aware of the relationship with themsleves as well as with others.
