Marc D'Aunoy recieved his master's degree in counseling from the University of New Orleans in 1998. He holds a license in both marriage and family therapy and professional counseling in the state of Louisiana. Marc has eleven years of professional counseling experience. He is a certified Rapid Resolution Therapist and trained in EMDR. He was trained by Dean Sunseri, LPC, and Dudley Bienvenu Jr., LCSW in Christian Counseling. He is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and the Louisiana Counselors Association. Marc uses a variety of counseling techniques in his practice and prefers to use a faith-based approach in understanding the human condition to help facilitate the desired changes people seek.
Before Marc endeavored to open his practice in 2006, he served as a counseling pastor providing professional counseling services to a congregation of over 1500 members. Prior to that, he and his wife led a church singles ministry and Celebrate Recovery for four years.
Today, Marc focuses his energy on restoring marriages/relationships/families and also facilitates healing for individuals suffering from past trauma, anxiety, depression, anger, resentment, panic attacks, grief, PTSD, OCD, boundary/co-dependency, self-esteem, childhood abuse and neglect and drug/alcohol/sex addiciton. Marc also has extensive experience with parenting issues and ADHD.
