Lana Farah has always been driven by a deep desire to help others, which led her to earning a Master's Degree in Art of Counselling and psychology. Lana Farah is a registered counsellor in BC (RCC) license number 21594 and across Canada as a certified Canadian counsellor(CCC) number 11248602 . Lana Farah embarked on a journey to support individuals, couples, and families through their most challenging times.
With over five years of experience, Lana Farah specializes in working with individuals aged 10 and older who are dealing with anxiety, depression, PTSD, school avoidance, and the lasting impacts of sexual or physical abuse. Lana Farah is passionate about providing a safe, supportive space for others to heal.
In addition to individual therapy, Lana also focuses on helping families and couples strengthen their relationships and improve communication. Her approach is grounded in a variety of evidence-based therapies, including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Ego State Therapy, Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), Gottman Therapy, and single-session-based therapy; (Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)).
