Meet
the Practice
The practice at Lakeside Life Center provide a variety of services,
offering individual and couples therapy, family and group therapy,
psychological testing, medication management, psychiatric evaluation
and referral services, as well as short term stabilization, and inpatient /
outpatient hospitalization.

Serving Denton and Collin counties
in private practice since August 1980.
Certified by American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
Distinguished Fellow of APA
Certified by American Society of Addiction Medicine
Voted as one of D Magazine's "Top Docs", Dr. Vasavada also holds a
position as a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at
the University of Texas Health Science Center in Dallas.

Dr. Tae Y. Lee, M.D.
Specializing in child psychiatry
and childhood depression.
A recent addition to the physician
team at Lakeside Life Center, Dr. Tae Lee comes to us from U.T. Southwestern.
Dr. Lee grew up in Wichita Falls, TX and completed his undergraduate
education at Worcester Polytechnic Institute and Midwestern State University.
Following that Dr. Lee obtained his medical degree from U.T. Southwestern.
Dr. Lee’s clinical training in adult psychiatry was at John Peter Smith
Hospital, Fort Worth, TX, and Parkland Hospital, Dallas, TX. Following his
training in adult psychiatry, Dr. Lee was a fellow at Children’s Medical
Center Dallas, where he had the opportunity to serve as the chief resident in
the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Training Program.

Dr. C. Steven Manley, Ph.D
Specializing in ADHD, depression,
anxiety and bipolar disorder.
Dr. Manley comes to Lakeside Life
Center with over 20 years’ experience as a licensed psychologist - completing
his undergraduate work from North Texas State University, as well as his
Master of Arts and Doctorate of Philosophy from Texas Woman’s University. Dr.
Manley has special interest in Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and
Mood and Behavior Disorders in children, adolescents and adults as well as
expertise with Psychological, Emotional and Sexual Dysfunctions in Men.

Jim Savage,
LCDC
Jim
Savage, LCDC brings 28 years of experience in the chemical dependency field
to Lakeside Life. Jim received his training in Minneapolis, Minnesota and
began his career at Fairview Deaconess Hospital, a nationally recognized
adolescent treatment facility during the 1980’s. In 1986 he came to Texas to
serve as the first Executive Director of the McKinney Council for Chemical
Awareness (now Avenues Counseling Center) in McKinney, Texas, providing
student assistance services in the local school district. From 2000 to 2010
he owned a highly successful adolescent outpatient program in Plano Texas.
Jim is known for his creative approach to treatment.

Krista Ketcham, M. Ed., LPC
Specializing in play therapy,
family therapy, and treatment of eating disorders.
Krista Ketcham, M.Ed., LPC, is a
licensed professional counselor with over ten years’ experience working with
children, adolescents and families. She received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in
Psychology from the University of North Texas and a went on to complete her
Master of Education, specializing in Counseling and Play Therapy at the
University of North Texas as well. Krista has worked as a clinical therapist
in a variety of settings. Areas of specialty are anxiety disorders, eating
disorders, mood disorders and abuse/sexual assault. Other special interests
include play therapy, family therapy and sand tray therapy.

Anna Lucchesi, M.Ed., LPC Supervisor
Anna
Lucchesi, M.Ed., LPC-S, completed her Master’s Degree in Counselor Education
at the University of North Texas and is a Licensed Professional Counselor and
Intern Supervisor. Her 20 years of experience enables her to have rapport,
respect and understanding of people from a wide variety of background and
professions. Her specializations are Couples, Relationship Issues, Life
Transitions, Mentoring, Anxiety and Depression. She also created the
Professionals Coaching Program for Physicians, CEO/Executives, Law
Enforcement, Public Officials and Therapists, which provides a specialized
experience for high profile professionals tailored to the unique challenges
and demands of their career field and support for their families. Specific
accommodations for privacy made upon request. LGBT clients welcome. Anna is
highly regarded for her energetic educational presentations.

Bridgette Turbiville, MS, LPC-Intern,
CSAT
Bridgette Turbiville brings a
wealth of experience and knowledge to her work in Co-dependency, Addictions
and Marriage Therapy. Uniquely qualified and accepting, Bridgette works with
people of interdenominational faiths. Bridgette comes to Lakeside Life Center
from St. Andrews United Methodist Church in Plano, Texas, where she continues
a strong, supportive relationship with her LPC Supervisor, Jenny Gomez,
LPC-S, CSAT, PIT. Bridgette’s experience and training expands several states
having settled in Texas with her family in 2008. She has trained with Pia
Melody and Dr. Patrick Carnes having received certifications in The Meadows
Post Induction Therapy for Trauma and Carnes Sexual Additions Therapy.
Bridgette will be working directly with Dr. Nishendu Vasavada providing pre
and post session follow up assessments.

Dani
Larsen, MS, LPC
Dani
Larsen M.S., LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor who completed her
Undergraduate degree in Psychology at Southern Methodist University and her
Graduate Degree in Mental Health Counseling at Nova Southeastern
University. Dani currently sees individuals, older adolescents,
couples, and families, and is comfortable in helping clients sort through issues
such as anxiety, depression, communication & parenting struggles, and
marital issues. Dani uses a warm and compassionate approach to her
counseling to make sure each client feels comfortable and secure, and can
accomplish the goals set for therapy. Dani will work with your schedule and
accepts Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Aetna insurances.

Stephanie
Haraburda, M.Ed., LPC
Stephanie Haraburda, M.Ed., LPC,
is a Licensed Professional Counselor working with adults, adolescents and
couples. She earned a Master's Degree at the University of North Texas and a
Bachelor's Degree at Baylor University. She specializes in working with
adults and adolescents who struggle with anxiety/fear, PTSD, compulsive
behaviors, low self esteem and relational skills, such as social skills and
communication skills. She has training in Collaborative Law, which
allows her to work with couples experiencing issues that arise during the
process of separation and divorce, while remaining consistent with the
collaborative law process. Stephanie has experience working in an inpatient
treatment setting seeing adults and adolescents with severe depression,
anxiety, self harm and suicidal and homicidal ideation. Stephanie
strives to provide a highly collaborative/teamwork approach in the counseling
process. Evening and Weekend appointments available.
