I will spend a moment telling you about my background and credentials before telling you about KML's practice because I know that is important to many people; having said that, I think always the MOST important thing in any therapeutic relationship is FIT. Now, onto credentials...I am a passionate and driven clinical psychologist, certified eating disorder specialist supervisor (CEDS-S), qualified supervisor (QS), certified school psychologist, and psychiatric nurse practitioner! I love helping people to become the best version of themselves, whether that be through direct work with me or getting you to the right team member who can. Throughout my doctoral training, my focus was on the prevention and treatment of eating disorders, women's issues, trauma treatment and anxiety management. I completed specialized training in neuropsychology, eating disorders and pediatrics. During Covid, I opted to go back to part time to complete training in nursing and psychiatry, and was awarded my BSN in 2022 and my psychiatric nurse practitioner degree in 2024. I am also a full professor of psychopharmacology at The Chicago School, and also am an Associate Alumni of Harvard Medical School.
After spending a decade overseeing and developing some of the largest treatment centers in the country, I opted to begin my own company in 2022, KML Psychological Services. This boutique practice focuses on clinical excellence and evidence-based practices! Safety, care, compassion and commitment are the foundation of everything we do at KML - EVERY PERSON MATTERS! Each professional on our team fits into that culture of person-first coaching/therapy. We believe in quality over quantity, and anything we do - we prefer to do with excellence.
