Your life looks great on the outside. You have all the things that should make you happy but you don’t feel that way. You may be struggling with anxiety, unresolved past trauma, or relationship dissatisfaction. Maybe you've been using substances more than usual to cope with feeling overwhelmed, and disconnected like you are running on autopilot.

Perhaps you have been considering therapy for a long time but have been putting it off hoping things would get better. You’re used to handling your own problems so it can be hard to ask for help. Other people don’t understand, they think you are fine. You know something needs to change but you're not sure where to start. You want to feel like you are living not just surviving.

We provide a supportive space for individuals, couples and families to explore emotions and gain insight. Our work will not be a quick band-aid fix, it will involve deeper fundamental change and emotional healing, making you more capable to face challenges in the future.

You understand change is a process and you are ready to make that commitment. The therapeutic relationship is critical to successful therapy outcomes and we will take time to develop this foundation. We work collaboratively. Ready to get started? Email us to book a free 15-minute consult- info@kennedymclean.com

THERAPEUTIC APPROACH

Our therapists are integrative and client-centred, tailoring treatment to your individual needs. We assist clients in
exploring past experiences and relational needs to promote growth and healing while providing support for issues in the present.

Many of our clients are people who have not had success with other forms of group therapy or short-term therapy such as CBT. We understand that there is no quick fix to most troubles that bring people to therapy and believe the only way to achieve permanent and positive change is to address the cause of your difficulties while assisting you to cope along that journey. Our therapists have training in:
  • Attachment, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, DBT, EFT, EMDR, Narrative Therapy, Gottman Method, PACT and RLT among others.
