I’m Joshua Adams of Authentic Psychology and I'm passionate about helping people overcome difficulties and find their strengths, passions, and dreams so that they can live out their authentic purpose. I am calm, empathetic, sincere, open-minded, and a good listener.

My goal is to provide a safe place for you to explore your personal values, shift how you relate to yourself, and build on your life and coping skills.

I provide individual counselling to adults age 20 years and over. My practice is open to all walks of life. I have experience working with stress, family of origin issues, addictions, and trauma. I will provide empathy and a safe place for you to process your story.

I am comfortable counselling a wide range of psychological, emotional and behavioural issues. Each client is unique with unique circumstances -- my therapy approach respects the individual and their own special journey through life. One size does not fit all!

My approach is founded on the simple idea that you don't need to be fixed. You are worthy of care and respect always, and you can trust that therapy with me will be warm, compassionate, include humour and gentle challenging to help you take steps toward growth and peace

I work with adults and youth interested in individual or couples therapy by helping them learn the skills they need to work through the challenges they're facing. You don't have to do it on your own!
