Hailey Collins is a Registered Social Worker (MSW, RSW) and Psychotherapist who completed her Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work at the University of Toronto where she specialized in the area of Children and Families. Ms. Collins completed her Honours Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a specialization in Psychological Development from Trent University. In addition, Ms. Collins has obtained further training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) through the completion of the Adler Graduate Professional School’s certification in CBT with Families, Children & Youth.

Ms. Collins has worked with youth in a variety of contexts for over 7 years. She has worked extensively with children and adolescents experiencing anxiety and also has experience working with people who have experienced trauma. Ms. Collins has training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).

Regarding her therapeutic approach, she primarily utilizes CBT, DBT, Strengths-Based, and Solution-Focused modalities. Ms. Collins balances her approach of processing through dialogue with her love for concrete, practical interventions, and strategies to apply in your life. Her goal as your therapist is always to provide a non-judgemental space for you to explore your difficulties while also providing you with practical strategies to meet your needs.

Hailey is happy to provide her services remotely (video and phone sessions). For in-person sessions, Hailey sees clients at CORE Therapy & Assessment Centre in Bowmanville, ON. The clinic is conveniently located in Durham Region and sees clients from many neighbouring locations, including:
