Glyndora Condon MS MFT LPC's story

Glyndora's dream was to be married with a house filled with laughter as she wanted many children ever since she was herself a child. She was gifted with intelligence and talent yet saw herself as someone lacking-then became an over-achiever to earn other's acceptance-while lowering her standards in regards relationships. She married and was in a dissatisfying marriage; and was unable to conceive for 13 years. Although she went through 4 adoption agencies-she never got a call to provide her a child(ren) regardless of her openness to any race or gender. After 6 surgeries she was blessed with 2 beautiful little girls while learning that her husband (now ex-husband) was unfaithful. This is when Glyndora drifted into a deep depression and sought a Christian Counselor to minister unto her-and learned that she had faulty thinking regarding her worth and the grace of her Lord. As a dark cloud was lifted, she knew that she needed to reach out to others with an empowering and healing effort-and chose to re-enter education to glean knowledge and to be able to provide help. She intentionally went to three different college/university institutions; challenging herself. In addition, she made sure that she learned the modalities and achieved highest honors.

Glyndora has served 9 counties with CCFT, OP, IOP, and provided IOP group sessions since graduating with 4 degrees and is now licensed in the state of Tennessee to practice professional counseling. She is in network with multiple insurances and does provide a sliding scale. She is honored in the National Collegiate Academy, Psy-chi, Adult Scholar, National Dean's Listing, National President's Listing, Magna Cume Laude, and other like achievements.

She has lived through trauma (multiple types), and has children and grandchildren with special needs. Her mother has Parkinson's disease; and she was a C.N.A. of the geriatric population for 14 years. In fact, Glyndora has worked in medical and health related fields most of her adult life with multiple populations. She also is a successful business, self-made woman for 3 decades.
