Life can be challenging, and at times we may need a safe space to ground ourselves and find healing. Here at Safe Space Counseling, I am here to support you on your healing journey.

I believe that everyone deserves a safe space to heal, and I am committed to creating a space where you can feel comfortable, supported, and heard.

Witnessing is the first step toward healing.

When someone witnesses your pain, it validates your experience and lets you know that you are not alone. I will listen to you without judgment, and I will help you find your own healing path.

This is a safe space where you can be yourself and share your thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment. I will hold space for you and listen to you with compassion. I'm here to help you heal and find your way back to yourself.

I have helped many individuals and couples restore their self esteem, heal from past trauma, gain coping skills and strengthen their emotional understanding - and it would be an honor to help you too!

HERE'S HOW I WILL HELP YOU

The exclusive focus of my practice is helping individuals and couples improve their sense of self. I believe that with a strong sense of self clients can overcome struggles with anxiety, depression, relationships, self esteem and trauma. The broad aim is to help restore and deepen safety, trust, and emotional connection with yourself. Together, we will explore your inner blocks and walls of protection so you can learn to trust yourself and accept and validate your feelings. The result will be a more confident, happier and peaceful inner self.

Relationships aren’t easy and maintaining respectful communication and boundaries while building connection can be a tough balance. We will work together to find the core issues and bring happiness back to your relationship which you deserve!

Trauma creates deep wounds within ourselves. Sometimes we don’t even know they are there until we are triggered which may confuse us even more. During our session we will discover those wounds with compassion and kindness letting them be understood on a deep level so we can relieve the ache and embrace the joy.

Anxiety and depression are like alarm bells that go off internally telling us something is wrong. During our session we will explore the anxiety and depression without judgement. With compassion and lots of space it will allow us to understand how we can help it so we can feel the calm and peace we crave.

Self esteem is affected when we abandon or betray ourselves and we don’t listen to our inner needs and pain. By creating a safe space and validating our story and our feelings, trust for ourselves is renewed and strengthened which greatly improves our self esteem.

THERAPEUTIC APPROACH

I utilize the therapeutic combination of DBT, CBT and IFS modalities which utilize mindfulness, awareness of one’s core self and various parts while implementing positive thinking patterns. These are all important steps towards healing. I tailor my approach towards each client’s individual needs. Most importantly I believe in creating a safe space for the client to heal and find their own inner strength. Each person has their own internal therapist. Together we will find yours and discover what you need to help yourself heal, cope, and become the healthiest and best version of yourself.
