Welcome to Northridge Counselling! I enjoy working with a holistic approach to therapy and I believe that as human beings, we are not only physical emotional and social beings, but also spiritual. By attending to all four aspects of your personhood, I will support you in your journey to find meaning and purpose in your live which will assist you on your journey to healing.

I am passionate about being a psychotherapist and I am always learning, whether it is from my client's life experiences, information I have learned while taking continuing education courses, or discussions and interactions with other psychotherapist and pastoral counsellors. i have worked with both individuals and couples who have struggled with addictions, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, trauma, and problems with transition in life.

Education and Professional Associations

I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and a Pastoral Counsellor with the Canadian Association for Spiritual Care. I have a Masters of Divinity from Tyndale Seminary in Toronto, A Masters of Theology from the University of Toronto and a PhD. from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. I have been a Spiritual Care Specialist and Pastoral Counsellor for over 10 years and have worked in parishes, hosptials and mental healthcare facilities in Ontario and Scotland. I am currently in private practice in London, Ontario and practice out of my home in Northridge.

Throughout my career as a Spiritual Care Specialist and Pastoral Counsellor, I have made it a priority to take continuing education courses in order to update my skills. This is essential, as i want to continue to provide my clients with the most current and best possible care. I am currently pursing a certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of Guelph.

Personal Life

I have two adult children, a daughter and a son. My daughter is married and lives in Strathroy and my son lives in Mississauga. My daughter's passion in life is animals and hence, she is t the manager of a kennel near Strathroy. My son is a licensed carpenter and has a wonderful aptitude for renovating homes as he manages this through his own business. When I am not working, I enjoy travelling, reading, baking, going to the theatre, going for walks along the Thames and playing with my pets.
