I love working with individuals and couples and helping them transform their lives. My practice is in a comfortable office in West Amarillo.

When I first started working as a therapist 24 years ago, I mostly worked with children and adolescents. I worked with them in outpatient, inpatient, and addiction recovery settings. I found that many of the issues they faced were a result of their home environment. It became very clear to me that stabilizing the marriage helps everyone in the home, not just the couple. So, around nine years ago I shifted my focus to include more couples therapy. It is rewarding to watch couples reconnect after they have been struggling and the entire family stabilize.

I provide parenting support for all stages of development in a family. As a wife, mother, and a step-mother, and being part of a blended family for 19 years, I understand the challenges married couples face on a very personal level. I understand the different stages of parenting and the impact it can have on parents and their relationship.

I also counsel people with anxiety, depression, and a variety of other issues. I provide a safe, supportive, and confidential environment. This helps people slow down and connect with their thoughts, emotions, and behavioral patterns that may be affecting their daily lives in a negative way.
