Dr. Dawn Gullette Crosson is a native of Philadelphia, PA and received a Master's Degree in Community Psychology from the Pennsylvania State University. She later graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine with a Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology. She is a licensed Psychologist, trained in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Trauma Focused CBT and has been in the field of psychology since 1996.
Dr. Crosson has a vast array of experience within human services. Beginning her career as a Rehabilitative Assistant, she developed hands on experience providing direct care to those most in need. Dr. Crosson has provided therapy, supervision, and direct care for Family Reunification & Preservation and Behavioral Health & Rehabilitation Services. She has served as Director for Foster Care, Host Home, and After-School programs.
Dr. Crosson provides comprehensive Diagnostic Evaluations and Outpatient Therapy. She treats a variety of mental health ailments including Conduct, Mood, Anxiety, and Personality Disorders. She specializes in treating children that have been victims of sexual abuse.
Dr. Crosson is a noted trainer and has taught post-secondary collegiate classes. Her training provides understanding and treatment of mental health disorders. She is currently the proprietor of Petra Psychological Services, LLC in Harrisburg, PA.
