I have been in private practice for twenty plus years, counseling individual adults and adolescents, and couples facing challenges in their relationships.
My areas of expertise include anxiety and depression, PTSD and relationship issues although I have worked with hundreds of individuals facing a wide range of life issues. In addition to cognitive behavioral therapy I use interactive therapies during the counseling process to enhance the healing and well-being. I am EMDR Level I and II certified and a Certified Hypnotherapist through the National Guild of Hypnotists. I have been trained in the John Gottman methodology of couples therapy.
My undergraduate work was done at St. Mary's College, Notre Dame, Indiana and DePaul University, Chicago, Illinois. I hold a Master of Counseling Degree from Governors State University in Illinois.
I am a member of the National Guild of Hypnotists and The National Board for Certified Counselors.
