About Me

Having lived experience in the mental health system, I understand how overwhelming it can be to find the right therapist. First and foremost, I am here to hold space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours in a way that is meaningful to you.

I provide services to individuals and couples from all backgrounds experiencing challenges related to emotional regulation, relationships, and life transitions. In particular, I work with those who live with interpersonal relationship difficulties, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), and Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (CPTSD). By using an integrative approach grounded in attachment theory, we will create a therapeutic plan that is unique to your needs. Adopting an anti-oppressive and trauma-informed lens, we will identify possible areas for individual growth while working to navigate the impact of the larger systems you are a part of.

Our consultation and first session will focus on getting to know each other and ensuring that the therapeutic space I am offering is a good fit for you. This space that I hope to build together will be one of validation, non-judgement, and genuineness. As we move forward through therapy, we will continue to evaluate and adjust our approach as your needs shift. In my clinical work, I am trauma-informed and relationally oriented. My therapeutic approach is integrative, focusing on relationships and attachment; depth-oriented processing; experiential and somatic techniques; and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT). I strive for flexibility and collaboration throughout the therapeutic process, and am open to exploring alternative treatment methods and approaches for each client’s unique needs.

Along with my individual and couples work, I facilitate community support groups and workshops that provide a safe space for individuals to share their experiences and learn from one another. These group settings offer valuable opportunities to cultivate mutual support, personal growth, and mental health knowledge.

I hold a Master of Psychology degree from Adler Graduate Professional School and a specialized Honours BA in Psychology from York University. I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and currently work under the supervision of Bavly Kost, RP, and Andrina Slegers, RP.
