We all take different paths in life and have unique experiences which shape who we are and how we relate to others. At the heart of therapy is understanding how the paths we are on now have been shaped by the paths we have taken previously. Once we realize this we can move forward and make conscious decisions about the paths we want to take.
From early on I realized I wanted to take the path toward becoming a counselor. Through my own life experiences, and education I've been able to make that a reality. In 2008 I received a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy from Azusa Pacific University. I've been fortunate enough to provide therapy for individuals, couples and families in Orange County for nearly 7 years. I am a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and also a board member for the Fragile X Association of Southern California.
