I believe strongly in providing a therapeutic space that is both emotionally compassionate enough to provide the safety you need and behaviorally challenging enough for you to grow out of old patterns. My specialties are as follows:

COUPLES & MARRIAGE COUNSELING
Being in a relationship with decreased joy and sex life is something nobody is prepared to deal with. Increased resentment makes it harder to communicate and makes you feel you can only survive if you seek help from a third party.

Audrey believes that quality couples counseling does not directly aim to fix a relationship, but rather uses the relationship’s issues to elicit individual personal development: yielding a better relationship experience. With this approach, each member of the couple can cease to center how their partner is failing them and redirect their focus to their own behavioral progress.

DIVORCE & LIFE TRANSITIONS
Letting go of your old life and being prepared for your new life are not one in the same. Major life transitions can be scary because the unfamiliar territory one has to navigate triggers insecurities, self doubt, and change the existing dynamics you have with old loved ones.

Audrey will assist you in identifying the goals you wish to achieve and how your thinking pattern either aids or hinders your process. Through being challenged in how your inner narrative functions, Audrey will assist you in developing long term behavioral change and personal insight that you can build on in between sessions.

SEX THERAPY
Trained at Sexual Health Alliance, Audrey is formally educated in assessing, diagnosing, and treating sex-health concerns. With a deep sensitivity for the shame surrounding sexual health concerns, she assists adults and couples explore all aspects of their sexual history from early exposure to indoctrinated beliefs, to pleasurable/harmful experiences. With this history Audrey and her client will co-create a map of sex goals and interferences as a starting point to intervention work.

Supported by exercises to increase your sexual satisfaction, Audrey will guide you through internal analysis to develop a deeper understanding of your mental limitations in an idealized sex life.

COPARENTING THERAPY
With a fundamental belief that the legal system is inherently set up to create an adversarial relationship between parents struggling through a divorce or custody dispute, Audrey believes in assisting couples who cannot resolve their marriage achieve cooperative co-parenting.

Many people falsely believe that being raised between 2 households is inherently harmful to the psychosocial development of a child. Audrey will present statistical information about what choices parents can make to create a cohesive and fruitful life for their children and confront unresolved resentment or parental concerns that gets in the way of this success.

ADDICTION & RECOVERY
Ceasing to use your drug of choice is a great step, but achieving a happy and fulfilling life can feel daunting after so many years of self destruction. At first, the miracle of sobriety leads to more general functioning and consistency in responsibility which are self-esteem building, but achieving a self actualized life is more complicated than remaining sober.

Audrey will assist you in exploring the void between achieving sobriety and truly being happy. Through exploration of trauma, daily behavioral patterns and your connection to loved ones, you will develop a deeper understanding of how your thoughts and behaviors impact your overall life satisfaction. Audrey will gently challenge you to test out new actions while you are encouraged to process how you can maintain your new budding lifestyle.

I am licensed to work with clients that reside in NY & NJ

Cost:
We work with your insurance's out of network benefits.
After meeting your out of network deductible, you can expect a 50-70% of the session fee reimbursed.
So, while our session fee is $250, our average client ends up paying $50-$90.
