Anna Olson is a Licensed Social Worker. She has a Master of Arts Degree in Social Work from The University of Chicago, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Franklin and Marshall College. Anna utilizes techniques from person-centered therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), narrative therapy, and internal family systems (IFS).
Anna Olson has over six years of experience in the field of mental health. Her interest in pursuing a career as a mental health professional began in high school when she was a camp counselor. She has since worked with folks across the lifespan in a variety of settings including hospitals, community-based clinics, and private practice. Anna has extensive experience working with teenagers and young adults and is well versed with the unique challenges that are present during these life stages.
In addition to Anna’s experience as a dedicated therapist, she also has experience with the neuropsychological evaluation process and holds a passion for appreciating how our individual, unique neurochemistry impacts our emotional states and behaviors. In conjunction with her clinical work, Anna has experience utilizing her clinical skills in a pediatric neuropsychiatry and immunology research program at Massachusetts General Hospital and is committed to integrating research to improve the mental health care system.
