Amanda Spanbauer is a National Certified Counselor. She has a Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. Edward’s University, located in Austin, Texas. She also received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Art History and Studio Arts from the University of Colorado Boulder. Amanda utilizes techniques from Compassion Focused Therapy, Existential Psychology, Contemplative Psychology, and Person-Centered Therapy.
Amanda Spanbauer has worked in the Healing Arts for the past 20 years. It is that wealth of experience that has informed her integrated and holistic perspective on healing. During this time, she began to see the power of emotions and thoughts in the healing process and made the choice to pursue a master’s degree in counseling. She is also a life-long artist and loves to bring creativity into the counseling process whenever possible.
