My Philosophy & Benefits of Therapy

My Philosophy
My intention is to help you find ways of coping, bring back joy, and humour in challenging times. Grief comes in all forms - not just loss/death of a loved one. Grief can be feeling a loss of sense of self, job loss, divorce/separation, retirement, unexpected life transitions, challenging life transitions, lost opportunities, and unexpected change. Let's get together to discuss and find ways to improve quality of life. Re-shaping expectations that things need to be perfect and rather learn to live happily in a space where we can expect ups and downs, and find ways to navigate these situations with compassion, comfortably and confidently. I'm a big supporter of trying new things, learning new skills, and pushing ourselves out of our comfort zones. Recognizing we can be humble, laugh at ourselves, not take ourselves overly seriously and find joy in imperfections.
Benefits of Therapy
