I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who has been working with children, adults, couples and families since 1996. We all seek a place to feel understood, supported and valued, and I try to connect with clients of all ages genuinely and with compassion to help them find that place.

People struggle with all types of problems, stuck using old patterns to deal with the same frustrations again and again. My goal is to provide a toolbox for my clients, teaching them and helping them to try out new strategies to cope with their issues, while guiding them to understand those issues in new ways. I help them rewrite the stories of their lives to have more satisfying endings.

I believe in endless possibilities for my clients. Change happens in small, slow increments, often surprising, but also satisfying. Through creating hope, promoting balance and empowering clients to understand their choices and the source of their personal power, I help them achieve those changes.
My approach includes an eclectic mix of cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness focus, narrative therapy, expressive therapies, EFT, and family systems work.

I am a graduate of The University of Michigan and Boston College Graduate School of Social Work. I have worked in a variety of settings including outpatient mental health clinics, hospitals, state agencies, home-based family therapy programs, and private practice.
