Meredith Hansen, Psy.D.

MY BELIEFS:

I believe that when an individual has healthy, satisfying relationships in their life they feel more secure, confident, and safe in the world. Time and time again I have seen this pattern among friends, in my family, and with my clients. When a person knows that someone in their life loves and supports them, they are more willing and able to achieve goals, take positive risks, and explore the world around them.

Because of this knowledge, and the value I place on love and relationships, I have dedicated my professional practice to helping individuals and couples establish healthy, satisfying, secure relationships.

MY EXPERIENCE:

Over the course of my professional life I have had the privilege of working with wide range of clients in a variety of settings. From community clinics to Orangewood Children’s Home to private practice, I have assisted countless children, adults, couples, and families through trying times.

While no two clients are the same, I have become keenly aware of the common thread that unites us all. Regardless of the clinical setting, client’s income status, career, education, or relationship status, every person wants to feel loved and valued. Everyone wants to know that someone is witnessing their life. Everyone needs to know that someone has their back. Everyone needs to feel loved.

I feel extremely honored to do the work I do and truly believe that every person deserves to be heard and understood.

MY EDUCATION:

My education in psychology began at the University of Arizona (U of A), where I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, with a minor in Family Studies. Following my time at the U of A, I attended California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP) at Alliant International University in San Diego, CA. At CSPP I earned a Master of Arts degree in Psychology and a Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.).
