Thank you for taking the time to review my profile. Here is some more information about my background, training, and current work as a therapist:
I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo. After working as a scientist for a couple of years, I decided to return to school and received a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University. I then obtained my Marriage and Family Therapist license and certification as a clinical hypnotherapist. I now have a private psychotherapy practice in Saratoga, CA and love helping people in my chosen career.
I currently work with couples, adults, and teens. The focus in my general practice is on aiding clients to resolve current issues, reach life goals, and connect more deeply. My specialties include helping people who are struggling with anxiety, depression, past trauma, substance abuse / addiction, codependence, and chronic illness. I also offer treatment for relationship and faith-based issues.
