Welcome to Elias Therapy

You have incredible power. The power to change your world. Your relationships. Your life. I believe in the potential within you, even when it feels distant. I see a version of you that is calm, curious, playful, creative, and compassionate towards yourself and those around you. I see you leading a life of peace, strength, and purpose. The person you want to be is already within you, waiting to be discovered.

I’ve worked with people from all walks of life—students, professionals, newcomers, artists, athletes, trades. Whoever you are, whatever you’ve been through, you can be the best version of yourself, no matter what comes your way.

My role is to offer space where you can comfortably be yourself. To express and explore whatever you like, however you want. I believe that the foundation of therapy is mutual respect, empathy, presence, and trust. I will not rush you or push you. I will reassure, accompany, and guide you—however you need, at your pace, for as long as you need.

I know how it feels to live with thoughts and emotions clouding your mind. You may have many questions and concerns—or perhaps nothing but hopelessness, exhaustion, and emptiness. However you feel, we have enough to get started.
Lao Tzu said, “The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.” Let’s take the first step together towards clarity and peace.

Working With Me

I offer individual, couple, and family therapy online and in person at our downtown Toronto office.

I specialize in individualized therapy, which focuses on understanding you as an individual, and your unique background and life experiences. Whether you’re adjusting to a new culture or exploring personal growth, I'm here to help you on your journey. My approach begins with creating space for you to feel comfortable to express yourself. We will then explore the main themes in your life, from your relationships, studies, and work. The next step is to understand your goals and any barriers to them. Along the way, I will draw from different therapy types to tailor an integrative style for your needs.

My regular hours are currently:

Monday :    12 pm — 8 pm
Tuesday:    7:30 am — 2:30 pm
Wednesday:    7:30 am — 12:30 pm
Thursday:    7:30 am — 2:30 pm
Friday:    7:30 am — 2:30 pm

To book a session outside of regular hours, please text or email me.

My standard rate for individual therapy is $150 per hour, and for couple therapy $175 per hour. I believe finances should never be a barrier to therapy, and offer reduced rates and sliding scales to meet any financial situation. I also accept insurance.

Students and those experiencing financial hardship or temporary unemployment may be eligible for a reduced rate of $75 per hour.

My Journey

Looking out the window on Bay Street on my first day as a therapist, it was as if I had entered an alternate universe. Having moved to Canada from the UK a few years before with a dream of continuing my legal career—finally being on Bay St. felt like home. But I was no longer the same person. Surrounded by law firms, waiting for my first therapy client, wearing a cardigan and ponytail—I felt an overwhelming sense of relief. I was not a lawyer anymore.

My journey had been difficult. I had suffered. I had lost hope. I had been crushed. I had been isolated. But finally, after it all, I had broken free. After over a decade of living a life that felt meant for someone else, it was suddenly all behind me. At that moment, I realized I had finally found exactly where I was always supposed to be.

Therapy was a transformative experience for me. I found the strength to reconcile my cultural confusion as an immigrant and my purpose in life. Decades of inner conflict, confusion, anger, and anguish cleared and left me with peace. My sincere hope is to give others access to the resources I found in therapy so that they, too, can discover themselves and take authorship of their lives.
