Struggling with anxiety? I can help! I know that it can be hard but I'm very excited that you made the decision to reach out! My name is Charisse Diaz, I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida with over 13 years of experience helping people from all walks of life. I have worked with individuals all over the country and internationally. I have worked with patients from many different cultures, backgrounds, and walks of life. And I look forward to working with you as well, to help you achieve your goals and maintain a healthy and positive outlook on life. I truly have an interest in all of my clients and genuinely care and am here to offer guidance and listen to you. Counseling can be intimidating, especially if you have not reached out before. But please rest assured that I will work with you with an individual approach in order to make your personal counseling experience as comfortable as possible. Together, we can work towards your personal goals, whatever those may be. I am here to provide support for you and am passionate about what I do.

I have spent many years working with a wide range of disorders and issues and am happy to assist with any issues that you may have, however I specialize in the treatment of anxiety and anxiety-related disorders. Over the years, I have worked with hundreds of patients who suffer from many different anxiety disorders, and have devoted much of my academic career to the study of anxiety and it's related symptoms. I fully understand how distressful anxiety symptoms can be. As a current Doctoral Candidate, I am extensively researching different methods to assist those who suffer from the symptoms of anxiety disorders. Currently, I have developed a comprehensive program for my clients that seek treatment specifically for anxiety during the course of treatment with me. Please know that your success in counseling is extremely important to me and we will work together to ensure that we are targeting the symptoms or issues that you want to work on.

I understand that at times, patients may either be unwilling or unable to come into the office for a session for many different reasons, whether it be distance, severity of symptoms, or an overwhelming work schedule. In an effort to accommodate my patients, I also offer confidential video sessions for clients that are in the state of Florida. Please inquire for more information.
