There are many different museums for the family to visit in Round Rock, such as the Elisabet Ney Museum, Austin Museum of Art, Texas Memorial Museum, Blanton Museum of Art, and the Texas Military Forces Museum. Family Services and Assistance Programs
Numerous agencies in Round Rock provide support services to families in need. The Round Rock Area Serving Center has a food pantry for families that cannot afford nutritious meals. Hygiene items and baby supplies are also available. The center also has a Thrift Store, where individuals can use vouchers to purchase clothing, home items and furniture. The Computers for Kids Project takes donations of used computer equipment, refurbishes them, and makes them available to low-income families. Arcil is a Round Rock social services agency that provides assistance to individuals with disabilities and their families. Among Arcil's essential services are educational courses that improve independent living skills such as problem solving and decision making. Social and recreational activities are also offered to improve social skills and provide a safe place where the disabled can have fun with their peers. The Peer Counseling Program allows people to share information, talk about their experiences with a disability, and engage in leisure activities together.
