I have completed Level 1 training in the Gottman Method. I use this approach when working with couples. I begin with the Gottman Assessment, which consists of more than 300 questions. This assessment provides information such as relationship satisfaction, communication styles, viewpoints on whether you feel known by your partner, trust, infidelity issues, commitment levels, and much more. The assessment provides a roadmap of the journey towards improving communication and the friendship with your spouse.

Edith's counsels dating, engaged and married couples, utilizing the Prepare/Enrich assessment as a vital tool in helping clients discover the strengths and weaknesses in their relationships. Edith helps the client increase awareness of their own role in the relationship conflicts and to develop skills for effective, open communication, mutually satisfying intimacy, conflict resolution, and more.

Intimacy, transparency, and vulnerability are key to your relationship success. In addition, learning to soothe yourself prior to your communication so that you can treat each other in new and supportive ways is helpful.
