Psychoeducation is a key component, as I believe in empowering individuals with knowledge about their mental and emotional health and equipping them with strategies. I also incorporate Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), to address emotional blockages and promote emotional healing. Furthermore, I draw upon the principles of existential therapy to explore clients' search for meaning and personal growth. I utilize cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), techniques to identify and challenge negative thought patterns and beliefs.

As human beings, we each grow up with a family of origin that is dysfunctional at some level because every family is made of of imperfect humans! It is amazing what taking a look at how our perceptions of life, love, God, money, the world around us, etc. is formed and how that impacts who we are and how we act today. It is never about blame, but it is often about finding real truth and forgiveness and learning how to move on and become your true authentic self!

I work with an entire person--the mind, emotions, body, spirit, relationships. I offer an alternative approach to traditional psychotherapy because sometimes we are stuck beyond our thoughts. I believe we are often stuck beyond how we think about something, but by how our body holds and remembers the experiences. After all, we feel the anxiety in our chest, shoulders or stomach. When we are depressed, we struggle to move, sleep, concentrate etc. I work to remove the block from wherever it is stuck. My clients come to me after years of ineffective therapy. They are looking for more than talking about their struggles or identifying how they think about them in favor of a change in living.
