I and the other Laetare Group counselors are devoted to giving you a professional counseling experience guided by faith, hope, and compassion. The counseling team at the Laetare Group is familiar with the tenets of the Christian faith. We will incorporate prayer, Scripture, and other spiritual interventions depending on your interest and comfort. Our services are open to peoples of all faiths and creeds, and lack thereof. We help you not because you may be Christian but because we are Christians.

As a Christian therapist, I will support you in the values and standards that are so important to you. You are welcome to bring scripture guidance and prayer into our session. I practice the admonition to "judge not", which frees us to explore your life challenges in a compassionate and caring environment. Christians struggle with the same life challenges as others. Forgiveness, self-acceptance, humlity, personal spiritual growth, grace, joy, and compassion are part of the message of Jesus Christ. As an experienced Christian Counselor and ordained pastor, over the last 15 years I’ve been blessed to help hundreds of men find hope and healing using both psychological and Biblical principles. I believe that Christ is the ultimate source of hope and healing in this life. But I also believe that he’s given us the gift of rational minds, able to discern scientific and psychological truths built into the fabric of His amazing creation. My approach is grounded firmly in Scripture, but I don’t use Scripture as a weapon. You don’t need more guilt, but rather, a reminder of God’s promises and a compassionate guide to support you.
