The essential components of ACT include stop struggling with unwanted thoughts and feelings, being mindfully aware of the present moment, and committing to a course of action that is consistent with what matters to you in life. ACT helps you stop fighting and/or avoiding your anxiety, develop a new relationship with your thoughts and feelings, and live the life you desire.
